West Yorkshire Joint Services are provided by a Joint Committee of
Councillors from the 5 District Councils within West Yorkshire (Bradford,
Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield). The Services provided include
Archives, Archaeology, Trading Standards, Analytical and Materials Testing
Services.
The Joint Services are funded by the 5 District Councils on a pro rata
basis based on population and also through self generated income. Every
part of the Joint Services will ensure that the services it delivers to
the people of West Yorkshire meet their needs, are efficient and
responsive and provide excellent value for money.
